I’ve never raced the Hawaii Ironman and probably never will. There was a time when I could have qualified but as a teacher, it’s hard to take time off in early-October. However, as a triathlete since the late-80s, it’s a shame to see the race owned by a profit-making entity that can impose a qualifying procedure based purely on other races that they own.

Dreamweaver Days

In the early two-thousands a neighbour of mine in Beirut, Joel, taught me the basics of HTML and how to use an FTP. I made progress with simple coding and quickly taught myself how to use Microsoft Frontpage and a new program called CoffeeCup.  However, while living in Bangkok I bought a pirate copy of Dreamweaver 8. This quickly became my go-to WYSIWYG editor.
